Thai Deputy Prime Minister Wivarat Rattanakorn stated on Monday that the government is seeking additional energy sources to ensure fuel supplies amid the ongoing war in the Middle East. According to him, the current situation requires urgent measures to diversify energy resources. Previously, Thailand relied on oil and gas imports from the region, posing risks to national security. The government plans to negotiate with other producer countries to secure long-term contracts.
